ask her how she feels about you, and ask her out. Try introducing new things to the both of you, like golfing, rock climbing, fishing, bungee jumping....anything that the two of you haven't done before, and maybe you'll both like it. With any relationship you need to understand the word compromise. It would be creepy if you found a girl that was interested in everything that you are, its good to find one with a similar passion or something like that, but you need to compromise with one another. Date one, do something that she likes, let her choose what she wants to do. Date two, you choose. It doesn't matter if you have anything in common or not, as long as there is an attraction for one another and chemistry, you can make it work. Tell her how you feel, and ask her out. Have fun, don't out so much pressure on yourselves. If you two are meant to be, it'll happen. Just have fun, maybe get to know one another by going out for coffee or something before asking her out on a 'date'. Have fun!

You sound like you are contradicting yourself. You said that you two have nothing in common, then you said you love her and you know she is the one for you (I am not understanding that). Other than her "good personality", what else do you like about her?
But to answer your questions; You said you loved her after going out with her on one date. Whoa....slow it down. Give it some time. Become "better" friends (go out on more dates, talk on the phone, get to know one another better) and then you will find it easier to tell this person how you feel about her. You said the date was boring. What did you do to "spice" the date up? When asking her out, you two should talk about places you all would like to go to have fun. You can't "make" her like you for she has to develop her own feelings for you. Just be yourself and let her feeling determine how she feels about you. The only way you would know she likes you is if she tells you. The most important key in a relationship is communication.

Looks like you're going to have to develop some interests in what she does.
You will need something to talk about with her.
How about reading something (and getting your spelling right) - try "the Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown - should hold your attention enough (though the last literary snob I went out with poo-poohed the book)

If you don't feel any connection now, you probably never will. You don't want to force yourself to like someone, then you will never be happy.
Maybe just be friends for now.

you can't *make* anyone like you. just present your best self and let her know that you're interested in her. If she likes you, great, if not, move on.
