I know PLENTY of people who think they are better then everyone else.
FOR EXAMPLE, on America's Next Top Model, one girl was constantly on the phone, taking away the privelge from the other residents. Finally, one of the girls said, "What makes you better then the rest of us?"
Her answer? (Keep in mind, the girl was BI-racial) "Uh... A-FRI-CA!"
In America, there is always SOMEONE who thinks they are better then everyone else.
Whites used to be better then the blacks.
Then, everyone was better then the Indians.
Then everyone was better then the Irish.
Then everyone was better then the Jews.
Then everyone was better then the blacks.
Then everyone was better then the East Indians.
Now, everyone is better then the Arabs.

It's all relative. There are no such thing that one group of people are the best. every group or culture have their problems. No one was created by god, that is my belief. we were all evolved from apes. that's called evolution. Jews are persecuted all over the world and maybe that's just a reaction. Just like African Americans or any ethic group that has gone through so much persecution that they retaliate and are defensive. give them a break! You won't know what it feels like if you had gone thru what they have gone thru.

Silly me... I thought it was the Christians that felt they were better than everyone else. Not sure why I thought that -- perhaps it's because they can't wait to watch the rest of us sizzle in hell.
If you're talking about the "chosen people," God "chose" them for special obligations (613 commandments) not for special rewards!

What made them special is the God chose them as His people. Right or wrong, you cannot argue with God and win. It has never been done yet.

being a jew, i would say thats a silly question, the jews are an educated people and they have contributed a lot of good things in his world, they are leaders, senators, governors and someday president of the US.They do not make healines in the local newspaper for rape, stealing killing or etc. jews are a cultured race
