It's awesome! I've been going to the nude beach near my home for the past 4 years, all through college, and I must have spent more than 100 days there during that time. As a girl, I find it very empowering to be naked in public, as long as it's an appropriate place like a beach, pool, etc. It's great for the self-confidence (especially if you look good naked and get admiring glances or smiles) and feels really unbelieveable toi be naked in the sun on a beautiful summer day.
You may be shy at first, but that will change quickly as soon as you get out of your clothes and over the fact that you're naked in front of other people. No big deal - they're naked, too! - and after a few minutes you actually forget that you're not wearing anything and just enjoy yourself.
Remember to observe some simple nude beach rules (assuming that you're a guy asking this question):
a) No staring or gawking
b) No plopping down right on top of us (girls)...you can look all you want, but give us our space, please!
c) No trying to sneak photos of other naked people...definitely not cool and can get you into trouble (as it should).
d) Be friendly but not pushy
e) Don't engage in any sexual or lewd behavior
f) If you get hard, don't play with it or walk around showing it off like it was the greatest thing in the world. We've seen them before, trust me, and don't appreciate having them aimed in our direction.
Given all of that, it's a great place and you'll totally love it.
Now, go out, get naked, and have fun!

Yes.
It was difficult and I did end up with a very strange burning sensation. LOL.
Most nudists enjoy the day and not too much gawking to make you feel uncomfortable. The next day it is like you have been doing it all your life.

Yes, when I was much younger, and more recently. It is liberating, and the only people actually staring are the ones that I dressed...ironically so. All the ones that are naked don't spend time checking each other out.

Definitely don't expect to see any hotties. If you go to a nude beach for yourself and not to see other people, you will probably enjoy yourself.
