I think ginger hair is a genetic trait, more likely to be found among Irish people than the English. I have seen the reddest hair on a little girl's head on one of the islands off the west coast of Ireland. It is redder than any hair colour I have seen in the UK. It is usually found in people with a very white complexion. People probably pick on redheads because they are rare and different. It is mindless and uncool to bully people because their hair colour is special.

Hmm, I in no way heard of the ginger hair stigma. Curtains and carpet in no way did incredibly journey--greater pink contained in the carpet. I also have a weak point for ginger hair. i think of somebody with ginger hair is incredibly undemanding on the eyes. The curious statistic I even have from the U. S. is the relation of hair coloration to sexual intercourse. And the winner (maximum lively) is _ginger_!! aside from an greater desirable susceptibility to epidermis maximum cancers and an previous different halves tale approximately witchcraft, there is not any genuine reason to discriminate against us ginger human beings.

A lot comes from my head! Seriously, it has been said that it is a gene mutation that causes it, and this is not hereditary, but I find this hard to believe as my mum and my gran were both redheads. As for bullying, I guess other kids are just jealous of our blatant superiority. Also, has anyone noticed how there seem to be more of us these days?

From the follicles in your skin and scalp of course.
Most ginger-haired people are also freckled which looks funny to people who aren't. And you know kids...the herd instinct. If it's different, attack!
