You know you're in love if your first thought is about the other person's well being rather that your own needs and desires. That desperate ache to be with someone is sexual attraction, not love. That urge to get her somewhere private and make out is sexual attraction, not love. I'm not saying that sexual attraction is bad. It can be a wonderful part of a relationship. But you can't build anything lasting on sexual attraction alone. True love is built on common interests, common beliefs and a genuine concern for one another. Sexual attraction can happen in an instant, love usually takes a little time or a lot of time to develop fully.

If you can't stop thinking about that person. You feel that person with you, even if you are far apart. You can't imagine ever being without that person. The feeling lasts. You don't have to question anything, it's all just right. You just know.

The day I sat in the kitchen with my sister and mom and began to tell them I met someone wonderful,someone that I love. I cried while telling them because I was so overjoyed.My sister cried hugged me and said she couldn't wait to experience the same thing.

you feel weak, yet strong at the same time
and you feel like you'd sacrafice anything to e with tis girl (or guy if you swing that way)

when you no longer have to ask that question. When you love them more than you love yourself, and you don't want to see them get hurt. When you see there faults and still care for them all the same. When you would do whatever it takes to see them happy. And your not ashamed who sees you with them.
