Is it true that ,when projecting, the "silver cord" attaching your soul to your body can be severed resulting in death??? Or is it a myth?
If it is true then what would sever it? I need to know!

TO THE ONES WHO DON'T BELIEVE IN ASTRAL PROJECTION: Please do not post how loony you think I am because I DON'T CARE! No good will come out of posting negative answers. It is a waste of your time and my time! so do yourself a favor!

I am an experienced projector and No you won't die if the cord is severed or displaced. Sometimes I see the cord sometimes I don't. I have been projecting since I was 5 years old I am now 36 I was in a terrible car accident 4 years ago and it is harder for me to project now but not impossible. There are some pretty good websites out there-check them out-and don't let anyone scare you!

Hmmm, strange but good question. Mine started when I was 6 y/o. I didn't know about a silver cord though. I always thought it felt good and learned how to bring it on myself and play. Well, I had, on several occassions, lost control and found myself waking up to a crushing headache. I had a couple of people tell me that it is a dangerous thing, nothing to play with, that it could be deadly. I stopped it immediately. Now, quite a few years later, it will sometimes come on without me trying and I make it stop. I can't see how it can't be dangerous. I know for a fact the it can get away for you! Like I said though, I don't know about the silver cord, but yes, I do believe it can be severed.

No. None if it's true. It's your body off kilter with its brain. It used to happen to me ALL the time in my late teens to late 20's. Here's how it goes: You're asleep. Suddenly you realize you're awake. Since you're still mostly asleep, you don't know it fully, but subconsciously you realize you're in the gap between sleep and consciousness. But your body is paralyzed. Even your voice doesn't work. You panic. You're still in the grogginess & irrational mind of sleep so... You feel "spirits"--BAD spirits--in the room with you. You attempt to move but you can't. That's very frightening considering what's "in the room" with you. This seems like an eternity though in reality it's only seconds. But then the chemical in your brain gets to your body that releases the sleep paralysis (the one that keeps healthy people from sleep walking) and you're fully awake now. Additional Details: Oh, are you one of "those" people? Someone gives you an opinion and your response is basically, "You're not the boss of me!" Well, I didn't say I was. I didn't say I was an authority. And I DID see things in my sleep state. In one instance I saw a dark shadow man standing at the foot of my bed. Another time I saw glowing eyes off to my right. Calm down, my opinion doesn't take away from "everyone has a right to their opinion! So there! Nyah!" Geez. lol And I find it funny that you match my comment of "You're not the authority" with an authoritative comment about there being spirits. Mush brain. And I didn't have to include the fact that you over came your fears. You seem to be on the look out for these things whereas I was not and they always took me by surprise. Nice adding of information though to "win" the argument. Geezuz. It was a dopey question with a response. it's not the end of the world. Why so uptight and defensive? -

I never saw a cord silver or other wise!

You are leaving your body open to other things, I don't recommend doing it!

i don't think it can be severed.unless something happened to your body.in that case,if anything did happen you'd be dead anyway and your soul would just move on.if your going to astral project make sure your in a safe place so you can safely return back in to your body

It depends on how you do it.

If you astral project that way, you won't be completely astral-projected.

I cannot profess my belief in Sean here (and I can prove Sean's existance!)

But "astral projection" is OK?

What is wrong with the world?
