Should I wear polish> If so, what color(s) are cool?

Oh yeah my uniform is Khaki pants w/ a navy blue shirt.

stay with light colors, school officials may have a slight problem with black :) Like baby pink,frosted pink,frosted white,silver,baby blue,frosted blue, frosted lilac,peach,frosted peach,clear is always best choice though
I love french manicured nails!!! They go with everything, you can even do them on your natural nails

I'm going into 7th grade too.
I don't like nail polish much, but i have the nails for them. But it is indeed true that french does look great with almost anything.
Try looking for your "color" that looks best with your hair color, for example. You can go with that color of nail polish.
As said before, you really don't want to have a bold color on your nails... I think it looks horrible. You should go for a light, nearly "no-colored" polish.

French manicures are cool, but since your young (don't worry I am too) try giving it hot pink tips or blue tips. Any colored tips. FUN! You can have both parts of the french manicure multicolored. I know this one girl who had silver base and black tips. Too much? Try a light shade of lets say...blue, then a dark blue tip. Be sure to add a coat of clear to keep them from chipping.

clear is the best though; your nails will look neat and shiny at the same time. also that french manicure. clean ;) it goes nice with a uniform. i'm not suggesting colors because at my school bold colors are pretty distracting.

I always think that a french manicure looks cool regardless of what you're wearing. It will look good after school and on dates :)

You are a bit young but then this is 2006 not 1950. Natural or pale pearly pink should be all I believe.

Don't bother, it'll just get chipped and come off really fast, just keep them clean. I recommend painting your toes though, that will stay on a lot longer. good luck with 7th grade.

It depends on what you are wearing. Lighter clours tend to look nicer on young girls. Sure why not, its only nail polish, I do my daughters nails and she is 5.

I think you should wear a colour that is near to your uniform colour.Navy blue should do it

clear, makes them shine and look healthy and not look garish like navy or purple or green and can be removed and changed for going out on the weekends.
