why are you still in love with someone who can't stand you? are you sure it is 'love' and not some sort of masochistic clinging to the known?
put yourself into the position of 'someone' - would you wish to go out with a person who still pines for his/her ex?
you need to disentangle yourself - with professional help, if necessary - from the ex before embarking on any new relationship.
