PDA can either mean Public Displays of affection (kissing in public etc) or Personal Digital Assitants, these are a new form of Smartphone that usually have a touchscreen and are basically a scaled down computer for your pocket!

Personal Digital Assistants... like a Windows Mobile Device (think XDA from O2) or a BlackBerry or a Palm Pilot. Just something small that sits in your pocket and is like an electronic diary, calendar, contacts, email, some other software etc.
