I'm sure you can get back together and have a truly perfect relationship even if you waited 20 years........or more, or less..................In my own experience, time apart, especially if you see other people, can really bring the two loves back together and form a much stronger bond than ever before as most of the time, if you miss one another that much, it's because you realized all the things you loved and missed that otherwise weren't found in someone else. Etc.etc. So yes, it's possible.

I think it is possible. It may seem weird for a while, like meeting someone new. It will be like "knowing" a stranger, but it's fun. It might take work though.
My husband & I grew up together, but he is 6 years older than I am. He got married when he was 25, I was 19. It broke my heart but I moved on. 18 years later we reconnected & that was it. His first marriage lasted only years because he was a wild partier. I got the BEST of him now. He is contented & settled. His concerns are no longer being with his buddies or getting a drink. Now it's who has a soccer, baseball, football game & where!!! Where & what are we going to do for Christmas, etc. etc.
It IS possible!!

It depends on how you two broke up.. If it was bitter then maybe starting out as friends first and then see where it will go. If there was a reason like he cheated leave that alone. If you cheated then perpare yourself to be under the scope. But if it was just a break up then try to see if something there... good luck...
