and "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle is now a bestseller. U may have heard the phrase "the past is history, the future is mystery, the present is a gift, that's why it's called the present".

The basic idea is that the present is all we really live in. When our minds live in the future we easily infect them with fear and worry. When we bring the past in we can dwell in anger and resentment. Peace of mind lives in the present.

Another point for living in the present for peace of mind & happiness is "if you can change it, don't feel negative about it. Change it. If you can't change it, why feel negative about it? It is as it is."

stay in the present second -because it really is all you've! in case you do issues today, the present some thing takes care of itself. there is not any longer some thing else you may do about the previous or the destiny. 'the destiny relies upon on what we do in the present' -Gandhi. Do the basically right you are able to now, some thing all falls nicely in position.

Yes, it's true mush has been said about it. lol

Lot's of good stuff too ... even God talks about how the flowers in the field don't worry about tomorrow yet are arrayed more beautifully than Solomon in all his glory.

However, making important decisions for your life require thought, which means considering the past, looking towards the future and planning for those you love.

The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, not to worry about the future, or not to anticipate troubles, but to live the present moment wisely and earnestly.

Eternity is contained in the present moment as is God's will.
Some call it the "sacrament" of the present moment.

Unless you're dead then you can't do anything other than be 'living in the moment'.
