my friend is stupid and thinks she knows everything and thinks that there are no lakes in the ENTIRE state of New York..... help me prove her wrong

Did you look at a MAP?

There are at LEAST 9 lakes.

Lake Placid, Lake Champlain and Lake George

there are many large lakes in NY. There's Lake Champlain, and Lake George which is by Vermont. The Finger lakes which are about 6 different lakes near Binghamton. In Western NY, there is Lake Erie. which borders with Canada.
