I would ask for wisdom like solomon did. Fortunately. I can ask God anything I want whenever I want, although the answer might not always be what I want or expect.

If it's the Christian god we're talking about here, I'd ask him why he killed all the first born children of Egypt, who had nothing to do with what was going on, and not just the Pharaoh. Seems a little evil to me.

I love this question...I'd ask that if "the end" is within my lifetime, that I'd be caught up in the rapture instead of having to stay here to endure what's going to happen. Although I'm saved, I'm frightened that I'll be left behind!

Dear God,
If you're perfect, omnipotent, omniscient etc. then why would you need to create us? Were you bored or lonely or insecure and in need of validation? No disrespect, but since I have to live this life and cope with its challenges, I think I have a right to know.
