Sounds like a rhetorical question to me.

Hmmm probably because they dont realize what they have until it is too late.
The general "I had a great person in my life and treated them like crap before we were over and now I realize I made a mistake."
They dont change if you take them back. But I would take it as a weird sort of compliment. If the harrassing gets to be way too much there is always a restraining order lol.

I suspect this is a very real question! Examine what kind of person you continually chase when you set your sights on someone....this is YOUR choice, not theirs. Do you constantly go for the needy person who needs taking care of, needs help in some facet(s) of their life? IF so, you have the "White Knight" syndrome going on..as in, you are the one who is going to help them see the light, set them on the road of the straight and narrow. (It won't happen, but you continually try). And, of course they will want to hang on...you give them what they need, but you learn they do not want to help themselves, so you run.
Are you always looking for the weak? They are easy to get, will chase you if you let them...but they grow tiring quickly, and will chase you until they die.
In any event, the fault is yours....you are chosing people who cannot stand on their own legs...and this is a weakness in YOU! You have security problems, maybe ego issues that you need to work out BEFORE you go off chasing anyone else again. Until you get yourself free of your issues, you will continue to attract the wrong type for you...and that is certainly what you are doing so far, otherwise, you wouldn't be leaving the relationships. Good luck.

Maybe because you lead woman to believe the wrong thing. Look at how your contributing to the relationship. If you don't want these types of things to happen then take your next relationship slowly, and don't pretend to be something your not. Be true to yourself and to others. Make sure the woman you look for are stable emotionally and have a regular life of their own. (keeps her hobbies and friends) Also unless you actually mean it... don't tell her you love her. Those are strong words for someone who is not serious.
