A lot of girls are hung up on a guy's material wealth. Can you really say you'd love a guy for who he is rather than what he has? What are your material standards when choosing a bf?

I choose a guy for who he is and how he treats me. Financial security and looks are in the same category, a plus but not mandatory. As long as he's responsible and can take care of himself I'm happy.

Well this a what you'd call a question with many answers. I'm the type of girl who goes for what he is rather than what he has, but hey a little money wouldn't hurt! Also the way u were raised has so much to do with what guys you go after. For example, if you were raised as if you were a queen, then a gal is going to look for a guy who can treat her like one. Me on the other hand, my mom is raising me to be independent, so I can take care of myself. If you've heard the Pussycat Dolls album, they have a song on their that describes me perfectly. It's called "I Don't Need A Man." But don't get me wrong, I always need someone strong around.

I am in love with a man for whom he is. Material wealth means nothing to me because I work hard, make money and pay my own way. My problem is, I'm never enough.

Material items mean nothing to me. Its all about the person that's on the inside that counts. If your mean and cruel you have no chance but sweet and nice and respectful, than i don't care that you look like a bum or have any unpleasing to most features.

Well I'm from the age of the independent woman. As long as a guy is not some slovenly pig that lives at home with his mother and who's occupation is the couch potato, he's OK with me.

I really dont care how rich a guy is...what matters to me is that the guy is intresting, and he can keep my attention. He also needs to be somewhat cute and have intelligent eyes, musical, great presonality, and a thinker...thats what i look for

Poverty and excess wealth both are roots of evil.
