I live right next to a marine corps base, I see them all the time, he's gonna be fine, just keep in touch, talk as much as possible and wherever he gets stationed visit as much as possible. He will miss his friends and family from back home a lot. So just make sure he knows that your there for him. Things will be tough sometime, especially if he goes to Iraq, that seems to really test military relationships. So just hang in there, things will be okay.

He is one of the finest trained soldiers of the world w/ the best equipment available..Dont worry about him..He most likely be fine..Their are millions of people in the Army and less than 3000 have died in the war..He probably be fine

I dated a marine in college and when he came back from bootcamp he was much more mature and serious.

Relax, millions have gone thru it before him and millions will go thru after him.
It's challenging training but it's not designed to be impossible by any means.
