MY dad had an illness where he kept onfeeling dissy and was about to faint for about a week on and off. He then didnt hae it for another week and then he had another dizzy spell. Does anyone have any ideas what this is?

High blood pressure/hypertension maybe....There is a possibility of a various things going on with him....Take him to the doc.

I had something like this once. I would get dizzy spells anytime i moved my head it seem like. I had it for about two weeks. I went to the doctors and they did blood test, pregnancy test, and a whole bunch of other test as well. And all they could said was that i need to eat more fish? what was with that? it went away after a few more days but every once and a while i will still get a dizzy spell when a get up really fast or something like that.

I have dizzy and fainting spells as well but i know for a fact i have low blood sugar. he should go to the doctor and get blood work done or something to see what is wrong

Try a doctor it could be number of things tho from sinuses to god knows what all could make you dizzy if the problem with is doctor is that he hasnt run tests or treated the illness properly i would get a second doctors opinion

This is a very general description. It could be his blood pressure or a heart defect. He definitely needs to see a doctor. He will need an EKG and bloodwork to get started.

yEP--- It could be a problem with the inner ear. There are to parts of the middle ear, one for balance and the other one for hearing. It can be secondary to virus or to other problems inside the balance part, he shuold see a Otorrilaringologist.

it could be a lot of things. low blood sugar can cause dizzyness, low blood pressure, low iron in the blood. should probbably see a doctor about it if it happens repeatedly. could even be worse andd caused by a brain tumor or something.

He could have a low white cell count. The doctor can give meds for that. Tell him to get to the doctor asap.

it could be
dehydration
exhaution
stress
blood pressure both low and high,,

but it could be more serious things tooo

small heart attacks
to myopathies- heart muscle problems
heart valves problems

he could have a extra rib that prsses on the artery to the brain
or could be any other thing too...

he could have seizure problems
he could be doing drugs
he could be on to many antihistaminics.
he could having electrolite imbalance too

He needs to get a blood test to find out what it is. It could be high or low blood pressure, daibetes, etc.
