I don't think you can develop interest in a subject, but if you understand it, you will find it more interesting. (cksq)

There is no way to motivate one to study if one is not willing to study. If you are really interested in a particular topic, eg- history, if you will spend more time on the subject as compare to the rest of the subject. It is not something people can developed easily unless they have interest in it.
