Honestly Hun, I had a boyfriend that was like your guy you are talking about, he needs to understand that you are not some prize. He needs to work for you, you deserve someone to be all over you, care about you, and buy you things, and yes it matters....doesn't have to be expensive, but mine wouldn't even buy me a drink when we went out. Make him chase after you! Not the other way around. Dump your current boyfriend and I would go for the guy who you like, see if he treats you any better. Your boyfriend sounds like a dick, that's bringing you down and clearly isn't making you happy, so leave him, you don't need that extra stress in your life, that's not what a boyfriend is for. Date this other guy and see how things go. Clearly you want to. Follow your heart, and all the best!

First of all -why are his parents living with you? Is it your home and you are responsible for the payments? Or are you both on a lease? I feel you already feel like you were taken and your not happy with the situation. Find a way out if you don't like the situation. Living with the guy would have been a step toward a relationship, yet when it came with the folks-BAD IDEA. Talk with landlord if your renting or if it's your home have a time limit to move out, Be honest with him that it's not working out.
Good luck. You seem to already know it isn't working. Forget about the relationship possibility with new guy till you get out of the old one. If he truely likes you too; he will wait.

I'll second what every one has allready said. Dump your current so called bf and get him and his loafing parents out of the house. Go for the man who actually gets you and be his future bride cuz it sounds like he really understands you well enough to do that for you. The current guy has to go and his parents with him. EVICT them asap.

i think the answer is obvious, you need to do what makes you happy. 5 months into a relationship is way too soon to be going through problems, it should be the honeymoon stage still. it's time for you to start kicking it with the other guy.

well its obvious its time to move on but the only tricky thing about your relationship is his parents being in the house that would be so awkward to be broken up and everyones there and you coldnt bring the new guy over at all...so i suggest either staying with your girlfriend or kickin them out..

Oh good grief.. your in a pickle. How rude of his parents to live with you. Puts you in a situation that will be hard to get out of. You need to break it off with him, and move his parents out. It doesnt seem like he likes you as much as you like him.
Truthfully I would break it off now.

Sounds like your current "boyfriend" couldn't care less. Just tell him you feel like you guys aren't working out then go with the new guy.

Why are they all living with you?? And after such a short period of time....
It sounds like they are all just taking advantage of you. Get them out.
