There are so many brands of memory cards out there...which ones are the best, or the worst?? Does the brand name of the card really even matter? I am looking to get either a 512 or 1GB compactflash card. Thanks!

many of those card are made in same factories. Same component inside. Looking for speed and price. Go with fastest speed card with biggest capacity you can afford. I have
Sundisk, lexar, and off-bland Taiwanese CF card I got it from eBay. All work great. None of them has ever fail me. It's a lot better to buy them from web site than stores. Circuit city and Best-buy cost very high.
