I suggest you visit a beauty parlor in your area and give your self a decent facial. They will take care of all your needs. I do not know how expensive it is in the area you live and whether you can afford it. Get advise from your friends on your ward robe. Dress young and decent. Join a gym and exercise on daily basis. These are a few measures which will brighten you up and there will be hopefully no dearth of boy friends for you!

it can be you may just give off the wrong signals. like when you stand you stand with arms crossed or you dont look up very often so after concentrating on your studies it seems as if you are standoffish. dont worry about it but if you want a boyfriend you need to find something you like and do it with other people. this will open up your option and let others get to know you or you can ask your girls if their guys have any single friends and then you can at least double date and see if you can find a guy you like.
