when you are baptized in the orthodoxy church, the priest gives you a name of a saint

I'm orthodox and i can tell you that priest does not give you the new name. they give names only to people who are staying to work in church- patriarchs, bishops etc.

First, read Acts 17:11.

Now find in the Bible where a "priest" is supposed to give you a new name.

Then believe the Bible, not some man who wears lacey dresses and pointy hats.

i've never heard of a priest picking names befour i allways thought you'r parents did that
