I am in a second marriage and on my wifes insurance through her work. All of my children are on the same policy. I think the key is to demonstrate through your divorce agreement that you are required to provide health insurance for your children. Anyways, I believe this is done commonly.

Yes, they will, but you have to add them at the anniversary, or at the "event" which allows them to be added.
