Ok,I put the game into the cd-rom drive.It started to install the game,but I got to about 13%,then something popped up that said trouble copying to media,or something like that,then it said Retry or Cancel.I click Retry but then it just pops up again.It isnt scratches on the cd,it is brand new,and I deleted some data,alot.But it just wont work,can anyone help me?

I had installation troubles with one of the EPs and ended up using a different media reader (I had a spare CD and a spare DVD reader). After that, I reinstalled the game later with the same CDs and didn't have any problems. Go figure.

Go to Start
Control Panel
Add/Remove Programs
Make sure that there are no files or programs related to The Sims 2.
If there are - uninstall them.
Restart your computer. Make sure the CD is out.
Then put the CD back in your computer when it turns on again.
Run it again.
If you still have the same problem - I would try putting the CD in a different computer. If it works in the other computer, it means your computer is not compatible to run the game.

1 : you try to install the game what was the error when it got to 13% on the install you dont say what windows are you on
how much ram is on the pc what was the error cant help you if you say something pop up
