I don't think you are crazy at all. There must be a reason you want to go back, and I am sure you have entertained the idea for awhile. Im sure once you get back in the swing of things you will promote quickly with your past experiences. Good luck

No, often many people find that once they have seen the difference between Military service and civilian life that the Military is a better way for them. Just keep in mind that you are always in a team environment and you will do better the second time around.

I do believe that the Marine Corps does not accept prior service people. Unless, you were in the inactive or active reserves.

Although my circumstances were most probably much different than yours, I was in the Navy for three years, and out almost five, before I re-upped, and finished my career. I have never regretted going back. Whether you chose to go or not, of course, is your personal decision, but whichever you chose, may God Bless You. Also, thank you for your service to our wonderful country.

Not crazy at all. I think it is honorable of you.

Just make sure it is what you really want before you commit. Then again, who am I to say that to you.. You've been there and done it...

By the way, thanks for your previous service. If you decide to re-enlist, Best of Luck and God Speed...

not at all. I think it would show great patriotism. As I stated in a earlier post..........if we were not over there, they would be over here on our soil murdering all of us. and don't think for one minute they wouldn't, they are making attempts every single day. weather they are actually carried out or not, they are still making plans to do so.
If that is what you truly want to do in your heart, then do it but to please be careful. and thank you for your prior years of service and protecting us to the best of your ability.

Yes don't go. In my opinion soldiers are not going there to protect us, but to protect big business in that region. It is not the duty of the taxpayers or our soldiers to protect those oil businesses. We do not see the profits.

Stay here, stay alive and contribute to good causes here.

No. Why would you even ask that here? Most of these posters are the ones who are crazy.
