We the American Public are fed up with corrupt police officers. We have way too many cops out there. The cops are parasites that are sucking our country dry.
The pigs are starting off at $52,000 annual salaries while elderly people can't even afford medical care.
The cops are locking up over 2 million americans mainly for offences like smoking marijuana and homelessness.
It's time that we put our foot down and started taking care of the sick and poor and stop the cops from bleeding America Dry.
We're tired of all the prisons sucking our country dry. 3/4 of all prisoners are in prison for drugs because of corrupt cops that just want to steal their money and live high on the hog.
Police are causing 3/4 of all the violence and murders out there because they won't let drug users be. It's all about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
When will the cops take their heads out of their a.s.s.es and let America be a free country again.

You are all jumping on this guy's back, acting like cops are some kind of saints. Yes, there are good cops. But there are more BAD cops. Cops who were picked on in high school, and love to get their revenge with a badge backing them up. Cops who love the thrill of violence. Cops who love to take away someone's freedom becuase it makes them feel powerful.
Now, I'm not saying its the overwhelming majority, but it is the majority. Why? Well, the majority of people I have known who went on to become cops later in life were either the people being picked on in high school, or the ones doing the picking on. Either way they are the ones now out enforcing our scary laws with even scarier tactics.
Ever watch an epsiode of COPS, and wonder: "Hmm, why did they say get down on the ground and not wait for him do do it, but instead, dogpile on him?" Its called an adrenaline high. Its why law enforcement officers have a bad rep. They use violence routinely, even on non-violent offenders. That's why so many people are afraid of them.

Im not sure which cops are getting $52,000 a year but the cops around where I live don't get paid that much they get about half of that.
You forgot to mention that when your at home asleep or at a party on New Years Eve, or opening presents at Christmas with your family, Police are at work. They are always there day and night. If you want an idea of what it would be like without Law Enforcement ask someone who was in New Orleans after Katrina.

You are a friggin idiot! I hope you never actually need help from the police.
Here's another way to look at it... I will give you 200 dollars a day, (taking out taxes and medical benefits) you can take home 100 dollars. All you have to do for it is go out and stop people that are breaking the law. Oh, by the way, for that $100 you will be cursed at, spit on, lied to; you could have some idiot try to splatter you with his car; you could have some junky jacked up on PCP decide to pull your head off; you could have some kid that's played Doom one to many times waste you with a .45. Not to mention, you get the thrill of seeing the dead mutilated bodies of babies the drunk driver left behind, the intestines of some teenage kid spilled on the floor when he was knifed over a skateboard. You also get to tell the parents that their daughter won't be coming home tonight because she was raped and murdered by some psycho that was into 10 year old girls.

first of all police officers do not make 52,000 a years unless they have a high rank, and have been in the position for a long time. most police officers work for 2-3 departments, and have "reserve status" which means they dont get paid at all. sometimes they keep that status for years before they are hired on at part time, let alone full time with health benefits for themselves of their families.
as for as "letting the drug dealers be" your obviously dont have children, or common sense. how would you feel if someone you cared about was raped or killed by a drug dealer for no reason? would you want them "let be?" if we were lucky enough to have more police patrols, and give them the right equipment and got more loser druggies off the streets that would mean LESS crime, and less murders, and less kids getting hooked on drugs everday. no one wakes up one days and decides to be a druggie, some dealer gets them started on it in some way or another.
and as for the prisons, i dont agree with treating criminals like celebrities, however, that is not the police officers faults. they just follw the laws given to them. they do not decided how the low life criminals and drug dealers are treated in prison. and they do not have anything to do with the punishment they get either, thats left up to the judge..... obviously you have no clue how our judicial system works. i dont always agree with it either, but atleast gain some knoledge of how it works before you start making dumb comments.
and to say police officers are responsible for 3/4 of the crime, and they want the drug dealers money just makes you sound lke an even bigger idiot. it doesnt matter if a cop writes 1 or 500 tickts or even arrests anyone at all, they still get paid the same (even they work for a department that pays them at all)
maybe you should get some facts and learn a little bit about the life of a police officer before you trash them....the people who risk their lives for you everyday. wake up already. its because of people like you that this world is such a messed up place, and good police officers die everday protecting your freedoms, so you can get on here and rant and rave like an idiot.

Americans are sick of CORRUPT police officers. But there are many officers who are not corrupt. If we do away with the police, what will you do when someone mugs you, or steals your car ? Take matters into your own hands and get yourself killed? Brilliant idea!
It doesn't matter if its for marijuana or murder, if you break the law, you go to jail. Instead of getting pissed off at the police for doing their jobs, get off your *** and make an attempt to change the law itself.

There are so many holes in your argument, I am not really sure what to tackle first...
1.) Its unfair to lay your bias opinion on a entire group of people, that leaves you in the same category as bigots, racist and ignorant people, who assume because there are a few bad apples it spoils the whole bunch.
2.) Police don't make the laws, so you really should be writing your congress and getting involved in a lobbyist organization if you want to influence the way our prison systems work.
3.) Even if you spit in a police officers face, called him/her a ridiculous name and cursed out their family, they would STILL come into ANY situation and try to save you, because that is their job.
4.) You really need to verify your research when it comes to the pay scales of police officers, because your wrong.
5.) Next time someone hits your car or hurts someone you love think about the officer that is risking their life to save yours

I do agree with you about not having weed smokers locked up, I think we should be able to take their precious weed away put it in a box, give them a receipt, send the box via UPS to Dept. Public Safety so that it could get weighed and then they would receive an appropriate mari. possession ticket. Unless they're high at that moment, then take them in for P.Intox. That way I wouldn't get tied up for three hours transporting a maggot to jail to get booked for a chicken....charge.....and then if they don't pay the ticket, the state sends a truck to pick them up, and takes them out to the highway to pick up trash and repaint the lane markers.......Anyway, we are here for your safety, whether you understand that or not, but in the end, we are there 24/7 for you and the other many people who hate us, but what makes it worth it, is the people who do realize that we are human and that the gun and vest come off at the end of the day and that we are only freaking human beings..............lastly don't forget..........WE DON'T SLEEP SO YOU CAN.........GOD BLESS YOU UNGRATEFUL DUDE

Police do not make the laws that result in non-violent drug offenders and vagrants being locked up...but they ARE responsible for enforcing them. If you have a problem with the law as it is currently written, you need to talk to your legislators instead of blaming the police for every problem.
Oh, and next time your home is burgled or you get shot or mugged, call a lawyer!
(P.S. Try thinking for yourself next time instead of just quacking out the Libertarian and Socialist Parties' talking points, OK?)

If I was to find you on the street and rob you, who would you call for help? It probably wouldn't be the cops, cos that would make you a hypocrite. And I highly doubt you would have the skill or power to defend yourself against me, especially if I have my friends at my back.
