As a breeder of cockatiels for many years, yes this is normal behavior for an affectionate bird. You are the little guys' comfort being. They also love to have their ears scratched gently. It is a way of being preened. The bird loves you.

yes i have 2 cockatiels and 1 cuddles up to me cuz he likes to nibble on my hair

I used to have cockateils, and they were both very affectionate. In the wild birds groom one another and roost together, and you are a member of their "flock".

That is VERY normal for a hand tames bird - show that you are a good pet owner or he wouldn't trust you so much. Good for you.

its very normal for your bird to cuddle with you, ecspecially when it loves you, my bird cuddles with me ALL the time
