To me the search and expression of the Truth is an intensely spiritual experience. When one goes to church most often they congregate with a group of people who are injected with one particular ideology and the only way they interact is to affirm that particular ideology via song, responsive readings, etc. Dialectically coming to the truth via dialog is much more effective than the inductive approach.

Mirage, there is nothing wrong with conflicting ideas, in fact they often facilitate the process.

No it is an interesting place to meet different people, learn about different faiths, share the truth about my faith when asked, and sometimes a place to have a good laugh.

THE WORD - "they congregate with a group of people who are injected with one particular ideology and the only way they interact is to affirm that particular ideology" - i think it is also applied to yahoo answer as being church. See this is what i mean you could call it church, mosque, temple or what ever or even yahoo answer. the bottomline is people needs to be accepted as what they want to be. Some of them more into discussion, some more into singing and dancing, some even use the war as their justification for their ideology and believe. for me church (as a building or as conggregation ) is still the way of christian's interaction rather than just discussion over the internet per se.

No it is meant for all religions, not just Christianity. To dub it a "Church" is very intolerant. It is more like a battlefield right now anyway.

To me, it's an extension of my church. I can praise the Lord with other believers. I can study the Bible. I can share the Word of the Lord with others.

No, Church is much more meaningful for me...

People at Church help me to remain strong against the constant bombardment of filth outside in the world.
