No. I do not ask back what i have gave the Lord. If i wanted the money back, i would have never gave it. I don"t file my church giving on taxes.

no you shouldnt claim your tithe on taxes. a tithe should be taken off the top, in other words gross pay not net pay. you should not take it off your taxes because it is not a gift to the church it is a requirement of God. you should only deduct other money or items that are given. what you give ,other than your tithe, is considered a gift.

It depends. When we first got married we didn't claim it, but then as things got more and more difficult for us we did. Last year we didn't claim it because we changed accountants and he worked things out for us so that we didn't have to claim our tithe.
It's not a big deal if you do or don't. It's a matter of personal convictions.

tithing is not for us now ,,, it was for people in the old testament. today we are only to give as the Lord has prospered us from a joyfull heart not out of necessity

Yes it is part of the law of our land. And as Jesus always taught to obey the law there is certainly nothing wrong with it. Although a Christian is not bound to report it, it is their option.
