Ibruprofen- you can get this for babies and adults. Also bonjela and frozen things to chew on xx

You can try clove oil or anbesol until you can get an appointment with the dentist. That should tide you over until you can see them. Also if there is a hole in the tooth, you can purchase an over the counter temporary material to plug the hole. This should keep out food and other irritants until you can see the dentist for treatment. Good luck!

The best thing I found in Dentagel which is available from Asda - its a lidocaine based gel, which really numbs. In between applications of that, you could chew on a flannel that has been frozen in the freezer. I found facial massage helped me when I had problems with my wisdom teeth.

Get to your local homeopathy centre and get some chamomilla 3x pillules, crush them between two spoons and rub the resulting dust on the gum. It works wonders.

Many people distrust homeopathy saying that it is all in the mind, when I used these tablets on my children in their first year of life and they worked, it had to be the tablets and not the mental attitude.

Have you tried Orajel? Just a little bit numbs the entire gum area...and your tongue. : )
