I am at a cafeteria. I notice a really overweight person at the next table. I see the person has 3 Hamburgers, Xtra Large serving of fries,2 cupcakes, and a diet coke on their tray.Being the helpful man I am, I walk over to the person's table. I grab there tray of food, and I give them a Turkey Sandwhich, and a salad. I say, "eat this, your life is too important to kill yourself with junkfood". I then take their tray of food and bring it back to my table where my family of 3 can have lunch. Am I a savior or a thief?

A thief by definition because you took something that isn't yours without permission. A savior, not likely, such interventions without follow through are usually futile. If you were to remain and serve as a coach to the person for the next six months and get them established in healthier eating habits and excercise, then maybe. But in this example you simply sound like an opportunist trying to rationalize your thievery.

You're a thief and busybody. Concern for another person's health is nice, but sticking your nose into somebody's business (or lunch) is uncool, and un-American. Plus, the fact that you and your family directly benefit from the switch by getting WAY more food than you gave in exchange completely wipes out any good motivations. It makes the whole explanation of how the person was too obese to be eating all that food just sound like an excuse for snatching free food for you and yours.

.If you really did it you are one rude two yes a thief it is none of your damn business . it think you would be facing a number of legal charges both by the person whom you took the food from that in some states is also assault! and the restaurant and a hypocrite as you are giving the junk to your kids

If some one is that over weight and wishes to eat them selves to death it is not your concern . Look at it this way he i or she is putting money an a lot of people pockets including mine probably as i sometimes invest a small amount is commodities .

You are terrible. I am very sad thinking you would do this. A person like this obviously has an eating disorder and you probably upset them so much they ordered even more food than they had originally. also if they are dieting its thier business!

You are a self-righteous jerk. You may think you are a savior, but you are imposing your views onto someone else. This negates your righteousness. You are also a thief, for taking something that you didn't pay for, regardless of how you think you can justify it to yourself.

wow,I bet that guy felt humiliated. I can only hope that for him it was a reality check to realize what other people think of his eating habits. Maybe he'll change because of it? Did he eat the sandwich or run out crying?

You're a thief.

Suppose I thought you weren't getting enough exercise, thereby endangering your life. I kidnap you and make you chop wood at my house, so my family can have a nice, warm fire. I'm a kidnapper, not a savior.

You are an ignorant jerk.

What other people eat is their choice and their business and none of yours.

Mind your own damn beeswax!
