Take a moment to think back to how you felt on 9/11 and let those sentiments guide you. ** Fly an American flag of any size on 9/11. Honestly, Americans should fly the flag year-round, but if you don`t, then at least make it a priority on this day.

To you miserable people that gave me a immature answer -- you better keep watching over your shoulder because wishing bad on someone always goes back to you in worse ways.

I am currently in Iraq serving my country. We have our Stars and Stripes displayed all over our base camps. And for all of you who stated you won't display the colors (or upside down), I support you; only because your actions is why I am putting my life on the line everyday. So you can keep the freedom you have to make that choice. Maybe I don't agree with you flying MY flag upside down, but I support your freedom to do it if you wish. Just know, that if you did that nonsense in other countries, you'd be shot. ENJOY YOUR FREEDOMS!!

Why fly an American flag, which indicates support for the government when it was the government that created and carried out 9/11.
Surely its better to fly a flag of peace, to show that you do not want the same corrupt government to create a nuclear holocaust in Iran, and destroy much of the planet, and the people on it.

I agree that the flag should be flown all year round! Why are some days more important then others! I come from a military family background so showing support for my country is in my blood. I remember when it happened. I was in school and every teacher lets us watch the news instead of doing school work. I saw the second plane hit tower and watched it fall on live TV. I feel for anyone who was there when it happened. It is something we as Americans should never forget.

I think the real patriots should fly not only the American flag, but also make a stand. Your country is under threat from a war-mongering presidents pursuit of power. Fly the flag upside-down, i know thats what we'll be doing over here

BTW
Im British, so we're going to be flyign both the Union flag and the Stars upside down. Everything our fathers once died for is at threat, these people never had to die

NB
Q-Burt, how is it desecrating the country? I truely feel that since the likes of Blair and Bush took power, we've lost our way as countries. I think we're facing a real crisis, and something we should be ashamed of for putting up with for so long

I fly the flag year round.

thomas p, you do that...if it was the other way around i would have flown both flags proudly. You do what you think is fine for you, I am not the type to denounce and desecrate another countrys flag for one idiot.

erudit, you are just the epitome of an oxygen thief. You are stealing perfectly good air that our children could be breathing in the future.

For the guy that asked why might they "fly a flag designed via democrats?" you're able to desire to income to cut up events and the histories of them. If the south grew to become into incorrect to secede, then the 13 colonies have been incorrect to secede from great britian. So, unabashed Repubicans, it is it? Are you rather a gaggle of pink-coats?
