Wanderlei cause his style matches up well with Liddell's. Both are pure strikers, rarely goes to the ground, prefers knock-out victories rather than submission, Wanderlei may have better ground work though and Chuck's too predictable anyway. It's a shame Pride will never let it happen! That being the case UFC should approach Quinton "Rampage" Jackson for a rematch with Liddell!

Chuck will win. Don't get me wrong, Wanderlai Silva is a great fighter and all, but Chuck has gotten so much better after the Quinton Jackson fight. "Rampage" couldn't stand a chance against Liddell if there's a rematch! I think Chuck has just gotten too good. He'll become the Matt Hughes of the Light Heavyweight division.
Either way though, it'll be a great fight.

It will not happen. Dana White promoted a fight prematurely, Pride and UFC have not reached a negotiation. Honestly, it would be a bad move for Pride to let Silva fight in a UFC event. But if it did happen, Silva would win because he is a smart, hard hitting fighter. They are both very capable of KO'd eachother, it is all about who fights smarter. And I think that fighter is Silva. Watch him in the Pride OWGP this weekend. And about Quintin Jackson fighting Liddell, it wont happen until 2007, Jackson is tied to the WFA (World Fighting Alliance) for 2 more fights, So once that contracts up then he can sign somewhere else.

Silva's a really hardcore fighter., so there is a good chance of him winning. Most likely Liddell will win though.

Wanderlei Silva by knockout... I see both going toe to toe but Chuck will be overconfident and may get a bit sloppy... Silva looks to capitalize on his opponents mistakes.

chuck is a world class fighter but wanderlei aint the same fighter that lost to belfort and ortiz. he stood toe to toe with mark hunt and in my opinion should have won the fight.
i say wanderlei on knock out in the second.
plus his confidence will be sky high if he win the absolute tourny in pride

Dana mentioned that the papers on Silva's side of things had not been signed. If the fight happens, as much as I like Wandi, I think Chuck can put him to sleep rather easily.
