God loves us so much that He has given us free will (check out the Creation story). That means that we have the responsibility to make choices in our lives that are good and help not only ourselves, but others. As the Creator of heaven and earth....He also allowed Satan to be established as the 'ruler of the air of this world,' and said that Satan could 'take whom he may' of the human race to hell with him. In that process, Satan has devised many false religions over all the years that mankind has existed that enslave the minds and bodies of their believers. Muslims are some of those who have been deceived (although they would deny this). As long as we are flesh and blood, there will be evil in this world - look who rules the air! The comforting thought is that along with free will, those of us who believe that Jesus is the Christ, Son of the Living God, also have the Holy Spirit Who strengthens us to withstand Satan's attacks, enlightens us with the real Truth, equips us to fight off evil and to stand up for what is right, and guides our steps in safety. According to the Biblical book of Revelation, things are going to get a LOT worse before Christ returns and takes all believers to heaven with Him. Be glad if you are a believer - you KNOW where you'll end up!

I'm not God. To your "human" mind that may seem rational and reasonable but your ways are not God's ways and your thoughts are not God's thoughts.

Isaiah 55:8
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

Was there a time in your life when maybe it was justifiable for God to have destroyed you?

God is great, he doesn't like to destroy anything, instead He will carry out that process through his devotees, the truth is He is only the creator we are the destroyers..

Very Good Question.

I suppose the reason HE did it way back when was to have HIS PEOPLE establish themselves.

NOW?? How many people living in Israel today even acknowledge, let alone worship THE GOD?

Great question.

I guess He doesn't want to.
