If you have three dogs, you may want to take it into consideration of how you are keeping a good eye on each of their health and wellbeing. To get another dog isn't such a grand idea. To go into sports you are going to need to spend a good half-hour with each of the competing pets. I'm sure there is more things you are going to have to do for your days other than training, so think on this. Also, your own patience is going to be hard to keep if you are training 4-7 days a week on 3 or 4 dogs each. Try it with just a dog or two. If you are concentrating on just a solo dog then your dog might accomplish more.

some places (like the town where I live) have laws limiting the number of dogs to 3. Generally they are only selectively enforced. People with small dogs generally don't get hassled, but if you want to avoid heartbreak check local laws. on the other hand if you can really provide a loving home many dogs are put down for a lack thereof.

Sure! Just make sure you have room in your home and that you are ready to take the responsiblility. It is aso important that the dogs ALL get along together. If they don't than you will be making them uncomfortable. And you probably love your dogs to much to do that! Make sure the breed and size is right for you. Look around a bit before deciding on one. If you really like one but arent sure if you want to get it than ask the shop owners to put him or her on hold for a while and then if you want to get it come back and tell them! Good luck! If you want to get them into sorts look for a local dog park and bring some toys and things for them to play with! Just have fun! Thanks for Asking!!!

You can get another one. Sure. How do you plan on training all of them if you plan on getting them into "sports"? You might want to train the 3 you have first.

Dogs will start to take on a pack personality when you have three or more. This personality can be very suprising. Not at all like the individual dogs have. With two dogs it's easyer to keep the hierarchy under control but with more than three it will take a daily effort to repress this from happening..

Watch out that you do not mix up your breeds too much. I love my dogs too, and I have three rescue dogs(chihuahua, american staffordshire, & australian shepherd), plus my AKC German Rottie...unfortunately not all breeds get along with one another, so please be cautious!!! You can have a household full of dogs as long as there are no laws in your city with a pet limit ordinamce, you keep them healthy and go to the vet routinely, and spay or neuter them...they are better pets once there is no reason for territory markings, etc...

3 is plenty, you cannot pass the proper attention to any more.
