I am a teenager, I'm not to sure about my view on religion.
I believe that God did indeed create the universe, but I'm not so sure about life after death (being in heaven). I believe we just..die. I believe that heaven is a place that our souls go to, but I don't believe we "live forever" in heaven.
I also don't believe in Satan. I believe in hell, but not a superior power ruling this so called "under world". I believe we as people use Satan, and "evil" as an excuse when we do something wrong. I don't think the "devil" tempts us. I believe people tempt us.

I need help uderstanding what my beliefs are viewed as.
Please help.

Investigate as many religions as you can, then decide which, if any, best fits what you believe.

What are you basing your beliefs on? God creating the universe is a Biblical teaching, but so are heaven and hell. If you believe the Bible, you have to believe the whole thing or none of it. Otherwise, how would you know which parts to believe and which not to? You can't pick and choose which parts you like and which you don't. I would challenge you to read the Bible to be sure you know what it says. Also, Josh McDowell has some books that might help you to answer some of your questions about the Bible. He started out trying to disprove the Bible and ended up believing it. Probably his most famous book is "Evidence That Demands a Verdict."

The Bible says it is appointed for man to die, and then judgment. Most other religions have some kind of afterlife, even if it is reincarnation. But there are lots of religions, but only one can be true. If you look for God, He will find you. I suggest you read the Bible, but not as a book from front to back. Read John first. John 3:16 Says God loved the world so much that he sent His Son Jesus to die in our place so if we believe on Him we will be saved and go to Heaven.
There are many truths in the Bible. Check it out!

If you start to believe in Jesus, you want to take the Bible as your life manual from God. God is God no matter what you think about Him, you can only say that you do not believe in His word or you do not like it...but His word is true now, like it has always been and it will always be. Study the Bible, so you know what He is really about and what He wants to tell you. You have a free will, use it wisely.

Well, U say: I believe that God did indeed create the universe. Hebrews 11.3. Declares that. And also Satan is real, and also eternal life is real, Jesus said in john 3.35 that If you believe in the Son you will have eternal life. Everything you wrote is real, so believe in Christ and you will have eternal life, and believe it as the same way you believe that God created the universe.

Keep questioning, look into many religions, read history, be open to everything that feels right for you while respecting others that believe differently. It doesn't really matter how others view your beliefs as long as they are not harming others and are right for you. What I've described is generally viewed as agnostism - it is what I believe.

But christians would say that the evil you have commited is because of satan's infulence. Believe what you think is right, people are accountable for their own actions, if i help a charity its not because the goodness of god told me to, its because i wanted to. If i will steal its not because the devil told me too, its because i'm scum. People know the difference between right and wrong, its up to them to choose the right one.

It sounds like you have rejected christianity.. Ok lots of people do. The love letter God wrote to us ,the Bible, also would appear as rejected. I guess you will have your own personal God. One you feel good about, one you set up and worship. Millions have done this before you. They are called idol worshipers. Good luck with your beliefs, but know this when you grow up and see the world as it is and realize the way God wants it to be, we will be here waiting for you to come back to HIM....Jim

Take a look at everything yourself and do what your heart tells you to. Believe in what feels right to you. If something doesnt feel right then it probaly isnt. Whatever you do dont let somebody make your mind up for you, make up your own mind.

Your leaning toward being Agnostic. An Agnostic believes that we can't know of the existence or non-existence of God. I am Agnostic.
