The Veteran's class is for dogs 7 or older, which allows for lower jump heights and more time. Most of the various agility venues offer this class. This would be appropriate for your dog. More and more of my trials have a dog masseuse available. You may find this type thing needed and appreciated by your dog, as well. Do it as long as both of you are feeling well and having fun.

My first trial there was a man in his late 80s with a 12 yr old german shepard - they qualified.

Absolutely, If she's healthy and fit.

Keep in mind, she will probably not be as competitive, and will be a little more prone to injury. If she tells you she can't do something, I would believe her.

They have a veteran's class for older dogs

I don't see why she can't compete if your vet says she's healthy enough. Just go slow with her and watch her for any signs of fatigue.

Yes she can - I wouldn't do it if she has arthritis though because of the jumping and running involved. Don't let her overdo, she can do it for fun, don't push her to be competitive time-wise.
