LAURA:
Many of us in the human race often never learn by their mistakes. I do not know your age or maturity level, but when one makes a mistake, we often repeat it at a different level. Personally, I make a big mistake and have paid the consequences dearly. Many never have been taught the methods of "trial and error". First of all, step back and refocus on the past problem.
A. Remember your first mistake from the past.
B. Try to stay focused on the "right now issue" and not yesterdays.
C. Re-evaluate yourself and the problem
D. Remain centered on the basic problem before
E. Peer preassure has an amazing effect on you; psychologically speaking
F. Think ahead of the problem if you can
G. What you learn from 1 lesson-try to encompass it and find the answer
H. Seek out and search for the true answer-it is their somewhere
I. One tries to fit in anyway they can-try to be yourself
J. What does your heart tell you?
K. Have I sought the answer throughly and thought it out?
These and other questions you must search inside your inner self for. The answers are their-if one is taught right from wrong in childhood. It is human nature to question and repeat stupid things we do in life-when your young you think you have all the answers and no old fogey is going to tell me different.
Life is a turn table of trial, error, wisdom, knowledge, guidance. When one keeps repeating their mistakes over and over it is a like awakening to a much larger world. Experiance can teach, as well as age and maturity. As the mountains speak out in its own way, so mother nature does also. When one travels that forbidden path, one learns quickly. If one decides that the path and journey is wrong, then one can turn around and journey the true path of life that should be followed.
When a tree is born and grows, it gains great knowledge and wisdom through the years and time, it learns the true nature of things, how to bloom in the spring, how to grow in the summer, how to shed its old leaves and dead branches(shed its skin) in the fall, and how to sleep (go dormant) in the winter to be reawakened in the spring and new life has formed. When 1 travels, one learns the many aspects of that journey, rather in another country, or in the United States. Everything has a price, and we as humans pay it dearly for the foolish things we sometimes do, As is true when we know something is forbidden our rebellious spirit does it just to taste the fruits of its bearing., and therefore we all make mistakes but many us try not to repeat them over....Hope I have helped you...

I think it is denial.
People refuse to believe that there is only one life, refuse to believe that the beautiful girl will disappear if they mistreat her, refuse to believe that they can lose the job if they act the fool and show up late for work.
They want to believe in religion, which says you can screw everything up and it doesn't matter, Jesus/Mohammad/Yahweh will cradle you in his arms and forgive you. Well, all of those guys are figments of fertile, febrile imaginations, and not worth the time to discuss them.
This is it; your life is only as good as the planning and execution you give it. That is what my father taught me, and my daddy, unlike all the fools out here, was always right.

well if you feel you are making the same mistakes then stop and take the time for yourself.
