I know of a lady and her husband that rent a beach house in the area. It may be cheaper to stay there and more private, but won't have the amenities of a hotel. coconut@coqui.net

If you check into it tell them Shannon from Dalzell referred you. It won't get you a discount, but they will know who you are talking about. It's a long story. Anyway, my husbands family is from that area and they usually eat in the little family restaurants, not the big chains. Did you try going on line and ordering brochures. You will get a bunch of info that way. We always fly into San Juan, but I think there is an airport in Ponce???? Go to travelocity and put in a flight itinerary for Puerto Rico and it will ask which airport you want to fly into. Then you just have to look on a map to determine which is close to Rincon. The island isn't that big so even if you fly into San Juan, it won't take but two hours or less to get to Rincon. Hope some of that helps a little. PS Don't visit the forts (El Morro) they have very few artifacts to look at and once you walk the fort for 10 minutes, you have seen it all. I'm a history major and love stuff like that, but it wasn't worth the time.
