If you are very picky about how he looks, you should be looking at purebreds. Mixed breeds do not breed true to type, and you can't be sure what they will look like. They might look like either parent, or a random mix of the two.

Besides that, breeders who care don't purposely breed mixes.

If you are really set on a mixed breed with a particular look, you should look at already grown mixed breed dogs in the shelter, there's millions of them to be had.

you are refering to MUTTS - NOT toy breeds.. none of the "names" you mentioned are actual breeds - they are crosses between two breeds and therefore are unregisterable and therefore are mutts

any dog used to breed a mutt is low quality because if it were good quality it would be breeding purebreds

you might be concerned with how it looks but obviously you dont know much about dogs

These designer mixed breeds are all the rage now. I would stick with a tried and true breed and avoid all this fad nonsense.

What an ignorant thing to say...you're "PICKY" about LOOKS but are TALKING about MUTTS/MONGRELS???

LMAO!!!

*ABSOLUTE *CONTRADICTION there...duh!!!!
Ignorance is CURABLE!! Can YOU manage it?
Go to the AKC site & READ the BREED STANDARDS in the TOY GROUP!!!
THAT means that ONLY purebred dogs will EVER be predictable as to "looks" OR temperament!!!
The ONLY thing you can know about those MUTTS/MONGRELS you mention is that the people who MAKE them (NOT "breeders"!) are CROOKS & IGNORANT & IRRESPONSIBLE & GREEDY & UN-ETHICAL!

find a breeder or check in the local pound
if neither of those work i would recromend looking the the back of a chinese restraunt, the one i worked for usually kept a few mutts and a cat or two in the freezer to keep away pests and robbers.

Go on petfinder .com - you can search shelters in your area and see pictures of the dogs. I'm sure you will find something there. Our family adopted 2 dogs thru petfinder.com and all are doing well.
