It is hard to know what a Vet in your area will charge. I did look into it AI a couple years ago so these are guesstimates.

Semen container, shipping, storage (there are differences in handling depending if it is chilled or frozen) was about $350.

The actual AIs were $150 - $200 (again depending on chilled or frozen) each and you will need to have it done twice.

The stud owners may charge a collection fee as well as the stud fee.

A c-section can cost $1000 - $2000.

If you have an English Bulldog, plan on having to do the AI and the c-section.

They start around $1500. That's just for the puppy. It's common for EBD's to have problems with their eyes, teeth, mouths, throats, hips, elbows, spines, liver, anal glands and need expensive surgery. This is COMMON! Not something that "could" happen. Most puppies require surgery on something by their first birthdays. Yes, MOST puppies!!! I'm not even mentioning the spay/neuter and all the necessary shots. These surgeries aren't under $1000, and that's the cheapest, easiest fix. You're looking upwards of $5000. for something really serious. Be sure you know what you're getting. Be sure you're buying from a reputable breeder. ~Ask what surgeries the parents have had, if they don't admit to at least 1, run away from that breeder. ~Ask to take the puppy to a vet of YOUR choice. Have the vet check the puppy's palate. That's where the most problems live. ~Ask what tests the parents have had. ~Get a health guarantee in writing. ~DO NOT buy a puppy that you haven't seen in person. Look at the parents. Look at health records and certificates. ~Internet scams are common. So are sick, defective, and badly bred puppies. Good luck

First, call you Vet and ask this question. It normally doesn't cost any more than breeding naturally. I have a friend in Ohio who charges $350.00 for semen, if someone wants to breed to one of her males. She takes him to the Vet to have the semen collected.
