1) Did you drive around your neighborhood? Often that is where they are found.
2) Call your local animal control officer to see if he picked them up or so he can be on the lookout for them
3) Call your local animal shelter to see if they were turned in there and so they can watch for them if not.
4)Call your vet
5)Put signs up around town
6)Network with friends and family
7) Do the dogs have ID on their collars? If not, please do that when they return home.
8)MICROCHIP them when they are back home-that way if they escape again and are turned in somewhere you can be contacted immediately.
9) If you are in the USA, start watching petfinder.com to see if someone has them up for adoption. In MI, animals with no ID are only kept for 4 days before being put up for adoption by some animal shelters.
10) Visit your local animal shelter (and please take a donation of some kind ((food, cash, toys, etc))when you go!)
11)Put an ad in the newspaper in the surrounding towns

You need to put up signs saying how to contact you if they are found. Make sure you have a good readable sign. Post on street posts if allowed, ask shop owners to put up signs in window. Call you local shelter, pound and see if they were picked up or brought in. Put a notice in the lost and found section of your paper. Go online to Craigslist.com, yahoo, and any other classified onlines and post. You can offer a reward, but it is not a requirement, people will just look a little harder if a reward is involved.

Did they have collars with identification on how you can be contacted or even tags where they were given their yearly rabies shots? Many dogs can be traced through their tags.

Good Luck. I hope you find them.

Contact your local shelter and police department first. You can also try your local radio station and see if they do a lost animal broadcast. And as always the old way - make posters and put them up around your town. Good luck and I hope you find them.

1) Put an ad in the local paper.
2) Print pictures of the dogs and your phone number and post them on utility poles, bulletin boards in stores, veterinarian offices, and animal shelters.

S o sorry your dogs went missing I would be terribly upset if they were mine. Contact the police, ask if anyone found them. Put posters up round neighbourhood. If in England contact battersea dogs home. Hope you get them back soon.

Call radio stations, local shelter, put up notices in the area, talk to people (especially kids) in your area, and drive around looking for them.
