Yes, in a way. He might have more self-confidence and not be as shy. Or, it could work completly opposite. He might be extremly embarrassed, especially after seeing the girl's reaction to the kiss, especially if it's not a good one. But, just wait and see

if you are a shy person you will come out of your shell but only after you have found the strengh inside yourself to do so .
you just have to see that you are actually worth something
