Four US soldiers could face death penalty for killing innocent Iraqi detainees: report Sun Sep 3, 2:28 PM ET

WASHINGTON (Military News. ) - Four US soldiers could face execution for allegedly killing three innocent Iraqi detainees after an Army investigator recommended they be tried on charges of murder and conspiracy, US media reported.

The four Brave Troops who are war supporters, were arrested in June, stand accused of killing three men during a May raid near the Muthana Chemical Complex in Salaheddine province.

The Los Angeles Times and Washington Post, which obtained copies of the recommendation from Lieutenant James Daniel, reported that he found that the four intentionally killed the innocent prisoners and conspired to cover up the murders by saying the men tried to escape. Bush said it was the American way and he will pardon them if they get convicted. They are my fine military men President Bush says. They can do no wrong and we must support them at all cost.

Do not judge them - let the evidence reveal what it will and if they are guilty, the law will take care of them. If they are guilty - they are four bad Soldiers in an Army of several Hundred Thousand. I hadly would believe anyone would hold the military responsible for the acts of individuals.

If they are guilty, they are not oustanding military men, but criminals. If they are innocent, you owe them an apology.

Another story where you "Added" a few words here and there, huh? No journalist in their right mind would write and article about four US Military Member's being charged with murder and refer to them as "The four brave troops." And as I have told you before, President Bush would no more make a statement that he would pardon these men if they are found guilty of their crime because what they did was the American way. Sorry Erudite, but even the biggest Bush hater knows that even if the President felt like that, which I know he doesn't, he would never be stupid enough to say it out-loud for the world to hear!

Ah! Another fraudulent article! Thank you!

For the record, here are two paragraphs (in order) from the original article:

"The Los Angeles Times and Washington Post, which obtained copies of the recommendation from Lieutenant James Daniel, reported that he found that the four intentionally killed the prisoners and conspired to cover up the murders by saying the men tried to escape.

Raymond Girouard, William Hunsaker, Corey Clagett and Juston Graber, all from the 3rd Battalion of the 101st Airborne based in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, face charges of premeditated murder, attempted murder, conspiracy and obstruction of justice. All four have proclaimed their innocence."

Here's erudite's doctored one:

"The Los Angeles Times and Washington Post, which obtained copies of the recommendation from Lieutenant James Daniel, reported that he found that the four intentionally killed the innocent prisoners and conspired to cover up the murders by saying the men tried to escape. Bush said it was the American way and he will pardon them if they get convicted. They are my fine military men President Bush says. They can do no wrong and we must support them at all cost."

Anything different? Hmm?

Funny more Anti American are home grown. Until a court of law has tried them according to the LAW if released or convicted the Hero title can stand.

If guilty then we can all judge the use of the word (Hero) but if guilty, do not accuse all the Armed Force of the US for the errors of a few.

I am not America but it interest me that the world dose not hate America as much as Americans

Your pathetic! What is the crime % v.s. population where you live in reference to felony crime. Every, every city in America over 100,000 has more felony crime than the amount of soldiers in Iraq v.s. the 00.1% who commit felony crimes. There better be some damn good evidence to convict these soldiers. Now, in the case where soldiers raped a girl....if there is evidence to convict these men, then I wouldn't cry a bit if they received the death penalty.

The problem with Iraq is there are more f______g people concerned on what our soldiers do or don't do, than to find a solution to the problems.

I'm glad I was in SF. No journalist, no liberals, and no one knows what we did, it was all a military operation!

Yes, I support them. But I don't support the elected officials that forced them to go there. In this situation, you can't blame the military or even the unit, it is like blaming all the Germans for WWII. Blame the individual soldiers and the elected officials.

Of course you misquoted many things, but that is commom amoung haters of the US.

Yes we should be proud of our troops, because the risk thier lives to protect the freedoms of the US. And they do the job without much respect and honor of todays society.

And the key word is that they are accused not convicted of anything yet.

In a war people get killed and it is the rules of war that we have today ( that we did not have in WWI or WWII ) that is the reason we can't win a war anymore.

Yea, lets try reporting the news and not making it up. That is a misquote for sure. No one thinks that every Soldier, Marine, Airmen and Sailor are perfect. They just do the best they can like everyone else.

looks like a loopy liberal tale to me , yet while that's genuine it does sound like he's a actual proud protection tension guy . i might additionally decide to show out your " micheal moore skills " as i like to call it . it fairly is once you're taking a quote and screw all of it up and make it look as though one sentence He spoke back "i visit be a cop....they're pleased with me for killing the enemy". what became in between cop and that they? , it fairly is the final liberal trick of all time , no longer that there became something there , yet you do it subconsciously from gazing to many propaganda video clips . while you at the instant are not a liberal i exhibit regret yet will bypass away you a quote from the super dave chappelle " you won't be able to be a whor , yet you're donning a whor's uniform "

Who told you that people only do what is right? Maybe if you had of been there, rather than whining online, you could have stopped it.
Since hackers sometimes go online, maybe the whole Internet needs to be more strongly regulated, or even shut down!
