Send them on a trip, even just a weekend get away at a local hotel with a hot tub and room service. Or a private cabin where they can be isolated and rekindle their romance. Something just for them, don't buy them more junk they don't need. Do something for them that they will cherish because they were together.

i made my parents a scrapbook thing with photos of them growing up and meeting and stuff with photos, I also bought a couple of papers and magazines from ebay for the year of their wedding and took some photos of where they used to go out. Really nice and personal and was only about 25 pounds all in.
You could do a smaller version in a frame for even less.
You could make a CD of their favourite music, wedding song etc or get their wedding pics or cine film (if they have one) put on DVD. You could plan a 'first date' night in and do everything in the style of 1981 (I presume that was the year they married) find out what they had for their wedding meal and recreate it. play their first dance music etc.
that's all I can think of...

Well 25th is Silver - so there's a start. I bought my parents a nice bottle of plonk and two cheap wine glasses, but splashed out on some silver coasters for their glasses to rest on. You could always go silver plated if you've a tight budget.

Something meaningful to them, how about a family portrait or sending them on an all expenses paid night out to their favourite place? Or a weekend somewhere just the 2 of them in a nice hotel.

The 25th anniversary is silver, so you need to choose something silver such as a silver tea set look in your nearest jewellers or Argos catalogue.

How about getting hold of one of your baby shoes and having it coated in silver, have their names and wedding date engraved on it along with your name and birthdate, i.e Sarah, first born daughter 14 April 1989.

first of all, i think of it incredibly is great that your mothers and dads have made it to 20 5 years. in case you have get entry to to all the photographs, then have them scanned to a DVD and have some advantageous song contained in the history. for the period of the anniversary party you've the DVD taking part in to proportion their memories with all there friends. good success.
