it is cruchy with a refreshing smell, it's taste is usu quite bland but with a mild sweetness aftermath. so in some parts of asia it is eaten with preserved plum powder that adds some sweetness & sourness to it

my experience with guava is it tastes like a cross between a canteloupe and a pineapple
