No. If you're good enough for the promotion you should get it without having to sleep with your boss. Cheating always gets discovered in the end so you could end up losing your boyfriend and your job. Besides what will you do after the promotion and your boss wants to keep sleeping with you? It will lead to more lies and deciet and your boss will always have something to hold against you if he wants you to leave the company.

In the professional world of finance the company i am a director of is experiencing more & more women who want a high powered career. Virtually all are married and virtually all make it abundantly clear from the outset that they are prepared to sleep with either myself or my partner (or both) in order to succeed. We have promoted many women this way and long may it continue.
When they later want to move to promotional roles with other companys they again make this offer in order to obtain top class references.
What i would say is that a high percentage of these ladies, once they have slept with you and got what they want DONT stop, they then want to keep having sexual relationships with their boss. Once they taste the excitement of an extra marital relationship, sex at home seems very dull. Very few ONLY do it to get the promotion

Are you mental? Thats prostitution not to mention totally betraying your partner. Why do you feel sleeping with your boss will earn you a promotion? Has he/she specified this? If so you can have him/her for sexual harrassment. Would you feel happy with yourself by doing this?

no because then you are opening a can of worms, what if you get that promotion and the only way you can keep it is if you keep giving it up to your boss.

Please don't do that as you wouldn't know that if he has already had a decision in his mind, hasn't he?
Even if you sleep with him, you can't assure that you will get the promotion.
