Well as a truck driver....they have a daily allowance they can use on their taxes....There are job expenses that u use on a daily bases that u dont think are used on ur taxes. Like meals on the road, entertainment, hotel stays, car rentals, loading-unloading fees, supplies-like shoes, clothing, mileage lodge books. These things are deductable on ur job. So keep reciepts and a good record and it will pay off at the end of the year for ur taxes.

At least you are not a business owner they get screwed even more. It also depends on what you claim on your W-4's. If you did 0, then you probably won't owe any extra money. If you claim 2, you'll probably owe money.
Next year you may want to check into getting deductions. Charitable contributions, real estate taxes, mortgage interest etc. But also, you might want to see a financial planner and or tax accountant, they can give you info about tax planning and stuff like that.

You'll owe somewhere around $4650. Check what's taken out of each paycheck for federal withholding, and multiply by the number of paychecks per year to get the total that they'll withhold. If the withholding is more than around $4650, you'll get a refund. If it's less, you'll have to pay.

If you're way short, change your W-4 asap to get more taken out, to avoid interest and penalties, and also avoid a big tax bill in April.

Ohio also has a state income tax - the above answer is just for federal.

You are a prinme candidate for roasting over the I.R.S. cooking spit, turned slowly!!!

You pay the most of any individual class of taxpayer!

http://fairtax.org would totally change that scenario, so that the 'wealthy' actually pay their share, and the 'underground economy' of $3 trillion is finally tapped!

Fairtax eliminates the burden that is currently on YOU as a middle class earner, pays in full all Social Security, Medicare, and Federal tax budgets.

Also, we all need to eliminate all the Congress who voted for the several "Bridge to nowhere" projects, like the one in Alaska, funded for $124 Million, for the 28 residents on that island!
