Sin is something such as an action, a word or a thought that will bring one into suffering. Sin can be reversed by bringing one out of suffering. The consequences of our wrongdoings come in this life and the next, but we can make up for them by doing good. This is how karma works.

Sin is DEFINED as breaking one of the laws of God. The word "sin" is also borrowed to mean something unpleasant or nasty, such as the way someone treats someone, like "the way she treated her husband was a sin" or "that dress was so ugly it was a sin". DIVINE means "of God". You need to be more careful in your spelling.
