Desperate folk will try just about anything.
I think that the fact that Jesus occupies a large
part of the Quran is appealing to them.
The Christian Jesus is actually nowhere to be
found in reality, so folks are beginning to look else wheres.

Islam is open to everybody and I think most of converts discovered islam becoz when they study science at school they see many religious concepts doesnt make sense.
And Islam is the closest religion to science
Another reason might be they are tired of the so called "western life style" that focuses in materialims and consumption...we know our core goes beyond how much money do we earn or what brands we use...
And maybe also coz we know God is the only one who has the right to judge our action and no some other human like us.
And maybe coz we are aware of how values are getting lost and how people is more unhappy everytime coz they have this "false" idols (actors, singers, brands, jobs)...that will never make them happy any way.

Think about this!
All contemporary religious dogma has failed humanity!
All contemporary religious dogma divides the human family!
All contemporary religious dogma causes too many tears!
The whole of humanity longs for something that will bring
us all together as brothers and sisters. Something that
will allow us to embrace our unity.
Nothing I see on Earth today makes this possible!!!

Islam has always been a mixed race group.you are just seeing more of them now that all this tragedy's been going on. remember how shocked Malcolm x was to find so many white skinned ,blue eyed people in Mecca when he went on his first Hajj...God is looking for His people who hear His voice....

Hey, Islam is the real deal. Where else can you have a ready made, violent, shoot-em up, intra-religious dispute all ready for the joining? It's a natural for anybody with any kind of chip on their shoulder.

Muslims claim Jesus was a prophet but reject all His teachings ..
They reject His divinity;
they reject his claim to be the Son of God;
they reject his death on the cross;
they reject His ressurrection..
They reject Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
Need I say more...?
Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ

Skin color doesn't have anything to do with it. Anybody who is gullible to fall for one superstition is gullible enough to fall for another one. The problem is that religious kooks prevent education from properly explaining science/biology/evolution, so people fall for any stupid fairy tale that comes along.
